E.L.K. is a modern tavern with deep Southern roots, newly opened in historic Downtown Monroe.

From the redesign of the 1,300-square-foot former Awards Unlimited building to the food coming out of the kitchen, everything here is done with intention.

Sauces and dressings are prepared in-house and the menu leans into tavern favorites: fresh half-pound burgers, crispy buffalo wings, deviled eggs, and the kind of plates you come back for. We also offer a range of gluten-free options and use separate fryers.
